DIB to assist sharia conversion

Dubai Islamic Bank will help convert Bank Devon Credit in the Republic of Tatarstan into an Islamic Bank, according DIB's Sharia Board chairman Dr Hussain Hamid, quoted in Gulf News. Dr Hussein had already supervised the conversion of National Bank of Sharjah. Tatarstan is a Muslim autonomous republic in the Russian Federation.
