- Iran: Sunday, May 19 - 2002 at 08:42
- PRESS RELEASE
In response to passenger demand, British Airways is to increase its three weekly non-stop Tehran-London flights to four from June 13th to October 28th.
The service features state of the art Airbus A321 aircraft, offering both Club World, with ergonomically designed cradle seats much favoured by regular fliers, and World Traveller. Both cabins offer multi choice audio and visual channels, and a "moving map" television screen on which travellers can see exactly where the aircraft is on its route.
The Tehran-London route is operated by British Airways franchise partner British Mediterranean Airways.
Majid Sohi, Country Commercial Manager Iran, British Airways, said "We have been delighted at the response to our non-stop services to London, introduced in April of this year. This has given us the confidence to introduce a fourth flight as demand increases in the peak summer period."
