Computer Associates Arab countries appoints elite management team

Computer Associates, one of the world's leading independent software companies, has further consolidated its position in the Arab world with the appointment of all of its senior executives in the region.

The appointees, based in different regional offices, bring a wealth of international and regional industry experience to CA, and come from leading multinational companies such as Alcatel, IBM, Intel, Microsoft, and Sun Microsystems.

"Our new management team is unique in strength and competence. As part of our commitment to the region, we have appointed the best in their fields to be part of the CA family. The management team will strive to maintain our status to become the leading management software company." said Gilbert Lacroix, CA's vice president and general manager for the Arab countries.

For functional roles with direct impact to business, Michel De Martigny was hired as vice president of sales, Ned Jaroudi as regional marketing director, and Bjarne Rasmussen moved from CA's European headquarters as vice president of technology services. In order to provide critical support for CA operations, Roland Jones has joined as regional facilities manager; Rita Mouawad as regional human resources manager, Paolo Grande as senior counsel and transferring from CA South Africa, Carl Wessels was appointed as regional finance director.

Rounding up the management team from a geographical responsibility, the company has appointed Mahmoud El Ali as GCC country manager, Saeid Marashi as sales director for new business, Toni Prince as country manager for Levant, Egypt, and Libya, and Amar Wadjih as the country manager for Saudi Arabia.

Every CA executive possesses over 15 years industry expertise in sales, marketing, technical solutions, operations, and consultancy services.
