Samsung ushers new age of home entertainment experience with launch of Plasma televisions in Middle East

Plasma TV pioneer, Samsung Electronics, have ushered in a new age of home entertainment experience with its 2005 line up of widescreen Plasma Televisions in Middle East.

Led by the PS-42D5S model, Samsung's 2005 plasma TV models, comprising the 42-inch, 50-inch and 63-inch, represent the best the market has to offer, with peerless video playback, arresting colour display and true theatre-quality size.

The newly launched models boast a number of enhancements such as an innovative visual algorithm - world's highest 549.8 billion vibrant colors; 1500cd/m2 brightness; 10000:1 contrast ratio to provide greater brightness without comprising on contrast for real-to-life like images; a horizontal viewing angle of more than 175 degrees to provide a picture-perfect entertainment experience from anywhere in the room and theatre-quality surround sound experience guaranteed by SRS TruSurrround XT through a seamless integration of 5 speakers and a sub woofer system.

Furthermore, the new models offer versatile features such as Samsung's DNIe™ (Digital natural image engine) to achieve superior image quality, full HDTV functionality and High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) to transmit 100% digital video and audio signals through just one cable without any picture loss for high-quality images.

Samsung also offer 63" and 50" versions of its Widescreen Plasma HDTVs. The two models feature high definition progressive resolution, superior color vividness, and precise video playback sure to delight A/V enthusiasts.
