Foresight and Flip Media launch website to raise awareness of Retinitis Pigmentosa

www.foresightrp.com has been specially designed adhering to guidelines issued by the Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB). Key design elements of the site are fast loading pages and a uniform consistency in design, regarding page layout and navigational toolbars. Minimal use of Flash animation effects enables visually impaired surfers to navigate the site comfortably.

The website highlights Foresight's aims and objectives, and provides educational information about Retinitis Pigmentosa. www.foresightrp.com also tells the story of Katy Newitt, the organization's spokesperson, who was diagnosed as having Retinitis Pigmentosa over 20 years ago. The site provides advice on how to be a sighted guide to a visually impaired person, as well as fund raising ideas and sections for corporate sponsors and volunteers. Links to the RNIB and the British Retinitis Pigmentosa Sociey (BRPS) websites are provided for additional information and resources. www.foresightrp.com has been designed and developed and will be hosted entirely free of charge.
