British Airways to start scheduled flights to Sharm El Sheik and Hurghada

British Airways will start a schedule of direct flights to Sharm El Sheik and Hurghada from October 22, 2005.
With these new routes, British Airways is now servicing four different cities in Egypt: Cairo, Alexandria, Sharm El Sheik and Hurghada.
John Patterson, GB Airways Managing Director, said, "We are delighted to start this unique service to the Red Sea resorts of Sharm El Sheik and Hurghada, which are becoming steadily more popular with British tourists over the years.
"Many of our tour operators have expressed a desire for direct schedule services to the Red Sea Riviera, and I am confident that all involved in tourism, and visitors to the area will enjoy the benefits of being served by British Airways flights."
All the Sharm El Sheik and Hurghada flights are operated by Airbus aircraft with a choice of Club Europe and Euro Traveller cabins, with complimentary food and drinks served, and the seating equipped with more legroom than many other carriers.
