- PRESS RELEASE
The Arab media system should be improved and re-constructed to channel messages to the public that serve the purpose of the community and its prosperity.
The research by Dr, Khudair was recently published in the World-known British Universal Academy (BUA), among other studies.
The research recommended that the Arab media develop new ways to catch up with the latest changes in the media technology. It stated that the relation between the Arab community and the media needs to be revised and the credibility of the media needs to be emphasized. It is essential to create stronger relationships between the media and people. The people should become partners with both their political system and the media message that transmitted to them.
The study pointed out some of the problems in the Arab media and how to improve the situation to meet new challenges. The big technological gap between the Arab and Western Media is one part of the problem. Other problems include the prevailing political systems in the Arab world and the amount of freedom given to the media. The study suggests that the concentration of media technology in a few countries deprives other countries from the possibility of improving their output.
The absence of a clear cut strategy to rectify this situation is a serious matter that needs to be dealt with immediately. The research also stated that it is essential for the Arab media to adopt globalization and improve education to meet the challenges of the future.
