Regional companies and multinationals invest in Thomas International HR system

Some of the recent additions to Thomas's growing list of customers are York International, Lamnalco Group of Companies and Emirates Airlines. As part of the new agreement with Thomas International, York Refrigeration and Lamnalco will use Thomas International's personality assessment tools for recruitment. Emirates Airlines, on the other hand have stitched this tool in their development process for nationals. From the time, when a national is hired till his 12 months of tenure in the company, they are put through various assessments using this tool to evaluate their skills, based on which an entire development process is designed and implemented.
According to John Kay, Director, Human Resources, York International (Middle East), "We are also planning to use Thomas International's development program for our management staff". "With competence, ability and experience in the marine, technical, financial aspects and disciplines of shipping operations being the bywords for Lamnalco's international record, the tie-up would help us maintain this competitive edge," said Chris Bloore, group human resource and administration manager, Lamnalco Group.
