Abu Dhabi, $7.6bn airport

Abu Dhabi is to build a new international airport at a cost of $7.6bn. The project includes a 4.1km runway, terminal building, cargo and logistics centre and free zone commercial area. The airport will eventually have a capacity for 50m passengers a year and will accommodate the new Airbus A380s.
