Flip Media wins 3 Gold & 1 Bronze Awards for Mercedes-Benz online campaigns

Flip Media, the region's leading, interactive marketing agency, announced that they have been awarded an unprecedented total of four awards for various online creative campaigns, on behalf of their client Mercedes-Benz Middle East.

The Mercedes-Benz CLS - Class 'Reveal' campaign took first place in the 'Outstanding Microsite / Landing Page' category of the Web Marketing Association's 2005 Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) Awards, an annual competition designed to judge corporate websites against Internet standards and peer sites. In its seventh year, the competition has become the premier event for web developers and marketers each year. The microsite for the Mercedes-Benz CLS - Class also scooped a Gold award for the "Best Consumer Website (Service)' at the Summit Creative Awards 2005, one of the advertising industry's premier arbiters of creative excellence, judged by a global panel of senior advertising professionals. The 2004 International Automotive Advertising Awards (IAAA) awarded Flip Media a Bronze trophy for the Mercedes CLS - Class launch in the 'Interactive Media / Simple Banners' category. Based in Michigan, USA, the IAAA holds the cream of the automotive industry's key decision makers and marketing professionals on its executive judging committee.

Additionally, Mercedes-Benz Worldwide awarded Flip Media with their prestigious 'Internal Online Bronze Star Award' for the Mercedes-Benz Middle East Formula 1 microsite: http://www.mb-me.com/f1/. The pioneering dual language site was developed for the inaugural 2004 Bahrain Formula 1 Grand Prix and features information about the drivers and teams, a gallery and race results.
