Stringent quality parameters and superior workmanship alone can sustain leadership in hotel signage industry

  • PRESS RELEASE

Market leadership in the signage and outdoor advertising industry can be achieved only through applying stringent quality parameters and superior workmanship.

This is particularly so in the hotels and hospitality sector where the visibility level is comparably quite high.

"In such a scenario, only a company that offers competitive costing structure along with comprehensive solutions can satisfy a client's specific requirements. Emirates Neon fits in this category, as we recognize the importance of continuity and common design elements in all hotel signs," said Mr. Rehan Merchant, Executive Director, Emirates Neon.

With a 30-square meter stand displaying its impressive samples of hotel signage works, Emirates Neon will be participating in the Hotel Show 2005, the region's biggest hotel supplies event, to be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from May 22-24, 2005. These samples will amply demonstrate the company's superior quality and long track record in the industry.

Along with this, ABC Digital Networks, an Emirates Neon Division, will be displaying its in-room TV channel to its patrons. The system already installed in key 5 star and 4 star hotels has gained tremendous feedback and support amongst hotel managements as it has led to remarkable levels of measurable in-house sales promotion for the hotels and other tourist products and services.

Emirates Neon recently handled several prestigious hotel signage projects in the UAE, including lucrative signage contracts with Grosvenor House, a Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort and Spa managed property, Madinat Jumeirah Resort, The Emirates Palace Hotel, Hyatt Regency Dubai. Currently, Emirates Neon is working on 15 upcoming hotels in the region and consulting on various signage and design element issues also.

This year's Hotel Show has added significance as it comes amidst the anticipation of major growth in the GCC region. Recent reports indicate the hospitality industry is set to see about 45 new five and four-star hotels coming up across the region over the next three years. Dubai alone is adding 10,000 rooms to its hotel infrastructure.

"The Hotel Show comes at the right time for Emirates Neon to further penetrate potential and untapped markets. We are sure participation at this show will prove fruitful in terms of new contracts as we are already looking into the possibilities of expanding in the GCC, North Africa and the Asian Sub-continent markets. We have even been short-listed for 100 plus upcoming hotels in major emerging markets like India and China," said Mr. Rehan Merchant.

Emirates Neon has already completed several major projects in these markets where demand for the company's professional services is very high.

"Emirates Neon has been participating in the Hotel Show since 2002 and the response has been tremendous. Last year's successful participation further strengthened in branding our name as the most capable and professional signage company for hotels in the Middle East. We received positive feedback from existing hotel customers about our unmatched service quality and obtained several leads from all over the region for our signage works," pointed out Mr. Rehan Merchant.

"Our solid reputation is built on quality craftsmanship and innovative product development. This has enabled us to be the market leaders in the region," said Mr. Rehan Merchant.

This year's show is expected to produce record visitor numbers because of the combination of abundant number of fresh entrants and additional properties from already established big brand names in the hotels sector in the UAE and the region. According to the organizers, so far, ten national pavilions, from China, France, Portugal, Germany, Greece, Malta, Mexico, Spain, Turkey and the UK, have signed up to take part in the exhibition.
