The BBG was established in 1987, and now has more than 650 members representing the whole spectrum of companies, from independent consultants to multi-nationals.

The new brand, designed by BBG member company Dunes, features the colours of the flags of the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates combined in an interlocking diamond shape.

BBG Chairman Jennifer Bibbings said: "Our old logo served us well for 18 years, but we felt that the time had come for a new contemporary brand to reflect the dynamism and performance that the Group enjoys today.

"The British Business Group exists to promote trade links between the UK and the UAE, and to achieve this we maintain a very busy programme of activities and events for our members and for visitors from the UK, as well as interaction with UAE organisations. We believe our new distinctive brand portrays our present day image and our character in a suitably striking way."
