Global Management Consultants provides recruitment solutions for Buzz Contact Center

Buzz Contact Center, a subsidiary of Emirates Bank Group, has outsourced its recruitment process to Global Management Consultants, the region's leading HR outsourcing provider.
"Recruiting through assessment centers helps companies have more indepth view of the candidates who are being evaluated. These assessment centers are designed for the recruitment of call centre agents based on the needs of Buzz Conatct Center" Added, Saira Azhar, Project leader & CEO, Global Management Consultants. "The candidates are put through a 2 day programme which evaluates their personalities, call center skills, teamwork skills and communication skills".
"The tools used in this assessment center are group discussion, role plays, teamwork assessments, personal interview and personality analysis using Thomas International Profiling System. Personal Interview and Thomas International play vital role in decision making for hiring of these candidates" said Saira Azhar. "Using Thomas International as a part of the assessment center helps us to evaluate the personalities of the call center agents, their strengths and limitations".
Zaher AL Banna, Operations Manager for Buzz Contact Center said, "Our major challenge was finding agents who will not only fit into a call center environment, as well as cap attrition rate, which is a common dilemma most call centers face. Global Management Consultants, assessment center process has dramatically changed the way we hire. Not only the attrition rate has dropped, but we have seen a marked difference in the agents' caliber, where by the recruits we have hired through the assessment center, are more much more aligned to the skills we require. We also noticed that at the end of one month orientation training, these new agents needed minimum supervision, and were able to work independently almost immediately, as such raising the bar of product ivy and quality instantaneously. This we firmly believe is because of the scientific manner of our new hiring process."
Global Management Consultants has so far,completed 3 assessment centers for Buzz, which has attracted over 500 candidates out of which 105 were qualified to go through the assessment centers. In total 32 candidates have been hired so far. A series of further assessment centers have been planned for this quarter.
