After a highly successful Arabian Travel Market, where the company announced the imminent opening of a new Radisson SAS property in Media City, Dubai's emerging media hub, the Middle East general managers took time out to visit Sharjah's unspoilt beaches and play tribal rhythms on bongo drums as part of a team building exercise.
"We try to gather our top management at least twice a year, and always plan one meeting after ATM," said Jean Marc Busato, Vice President, Rezidor SAS Hospitality, Middle East. "This year's exhibition highlighted this multi-brand company's impressive regional expansion over the last year, together with increased interest in our European properties."
General Managers from the 14 Middle East properties met to discuss new developments, such as the re-launch of the company's loyalty programme - goldpoints plus - following last month's announcement of the extension of the Master Franchise Agreement between Rezidor SAS Hospitality and Carlson Hotels Worldwide.
"The Radisson SAS Resort, Sharjah is the perfect venue for meetings or events up to 950 people. The increasingly high demand for weddings here is testament to the warm and friendly ambience. It is an ideal destination for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of Dubai," added Busato.
The Radisson SAS resort Sharjah is situated on a private lagoon and features 300 well-appointed rooms with views of the Arabian Gulf.
