The cameras incorporate newly developed Super Dynamic technologies that provide excellent image quality and intelligent features, making them the most advanced 24-hour surveillance solutions.

"The growth in residential and commercial developments has boosted the market for high-tech security devices. Panasonic has developed an advanced series of security cameras with intelligent processing technologies making them an efficient safeguard against threats. The cameras feature a unique "scene change detection" function that can detect major changes in a scene. An automatic alarm signal will be sent upon detection of sabotage such as something being sprayed on the lens, removal of the lens or a change in the camera's angle," said Hitoshi Shigetomi, Manager, System Sales Department, Panasonic Marketing Middle East FZE.

The new Super Dynamic III cameras will be available as dome type (WV-CS950 for 220-240V AC, WV-CS954 for 24V AC) or as fixed type (WV-CP480 for 220-240V AC and WV-CP484 for 24V AC or 12V DC).

The new cameras have an improved performance under low light conditions and can be used in lighting as low as 0.5 lux in colour mode. In addition, an adaptive digital noise reduction feature corrects movement-generated streaking.

The cameras reveal the picture's smallest detail with natural colour reproduction. The combination of optimized optical filtering and wide band digital signal processing delivers colour images with 540 lines and B/W images with 570 lines of horizontal resolution. The digital colour circuitry in the newly developed DSP processes colour at a finer level of detail, enabling the natural reproduction of even poorly illuminated or pale colours.

Additionally, an auto image stabilizer prevents blurring of images taken by cameras affected by wind or vibration from vehicles.

The WV-CS950 series PTZ dome cameras feature an auto tracking function that can automatically trace an object, making it ideally suitable for locations with restricted and limited access.

The WV-CP480 series box-type cameras incorporate auto back focus technology to automatically adjust the CCD position when a camera changes from colour to B/W mode and vice versa, always ensuring the clearest and sharpest image possible. This feature eliminates blurring when the IR cut filter is removed.

The PTZ dome type cameras WV-CS950 series are equipped with a powerful 30x optical zoom lens. By combining a proprietary control chip, brushless motor and an optimized speed profile built into the microprocessor, a super-fine pan control with 0.065 degrees per second can be realized, enabling to smoothly track and capture moving subjects.
