The event aims to raise cultural awareness towards Iranian cinema, music, history, fashion, and raise funds for research, which would help develop the encyclopaedia.
The Wind FZ-LLC, a project management company based in Dubai, is sponsoring the event for the third consecutive year. Mrs. Faranak Assefnia, Managing Director, stated "We are proud to be involved in such an event, which is aimed at raising Iranian cultural and scientific awareness".
Encyclopaedia Iranica is the most extensive compilation of the past and present culture of the people who speak an Iranian language and their contribution to the broader history of human civilization. It is the only precise and reliable reference work on the lands, life, culture and history of all Iranian peoples and their interaction with other societies.
The Wind FZ-LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Quest International Design and Property Development, has assets of around AED 1 Billion.
