Saatchi and Saatchi in gold rush at IAA BTL Awards

At the GCC International Advertising Association (IAA) Bi-Annual Below the Line Awards held recently in Dubai, Saatchi & Saatchi swept the board striking gold eight times. The agency's full tally of awards was eight gold, four silver and two bronze.
"Saatchi & Saatchi is the most famous name in our industry, it's associated with success and people expect the very best from us", said Rob Mitchell, Managing Director of Saatchi & Saatchi.
"We're an ideas company, which means we define what we do by creativity. Below the Line communications are incredibly important to our clients and take a major share of their budgets. We have the talent, culture and structure to do the very best work in this field, as these awards prove. And we have great clients who allow us to do great work".
A record number of 736 entries from 69 agencies and other media companies were received for this year's contest. Winners were chosen by a panel of eleven international judges, chaired by Brendan Neiland, Keeper of The Royal Academy of Arts.
Below-the-line advertising is non-traditional advertising i.e. that does not appear in TV, newspapers, magazines or radio.
Saatchi & Saatchi won awards for a variety of work including corporate brochures, sales presentations, direct mail packs, invitation cards, and corporate identity. The work was completed on behalf of the following clients: Alcatel, Datafort, Dubal, Ignition, Jeema, Mashreqbank, Medicins Sans Frontiers, The Palm, Saudi American Bank, Stars and Visa International.
