The CIPD is committed to being the leading, best-practice professional institute in the UK and Ireland. It exists to help its members improve the performance of their organisations and through them help increase the productivity levels of the whole economy. The CIPD also advises Government and businesses at UK and European level on employment policies and plays a key role in developing both national and European-level employment strategies.
CIPD members are drawn from every sector of the economy, both public and private - with many acting in key strategic roles within their organisations. The CIPD aims through its research, publishing and conferences, to provide a better understanding of the key workplace issues for members, opinion formers and the wider public.
The Institute is responsible for the professional qualifications of the personnel profession. Knowledge Network (knet) in association with Oakwood Training continue to offer CIPD programmes in Dubai.
With the rapid growth in the region, more people are being employed and thus the HR function is growing. It is a must to have qualified HR professionals looking after the organisation's human potential.
There is no language or academic pre-determined entry requirements for these courses. However, a high level of written and spoken English is required. Each of the Certificate programmes offered leads to Associate Membership of the CIPD upon successful completion.
