Space Toon is now in Orbit

Space Toon, the pan-Arabic children's channel will now be part of the Orbit Satellite Television and Radio Network.

The Space Toon and Orbit partnership will provide Orbit youngsters a full spectrum of children's Arabic programming including award winning animation in addition to other kids programming such as movies, educational programmes, history & science documentaries, action & adventure shows, sports and comedy.

Space Toon is now part of Orbit's KIDS and MEGA packages that include a variety of other kids channels, as well as a wide range of Arabic and Western Television and Radio entertainment. Whilst viewers are able to gain access to over 400 free to air channels, Orbit's advanced decoders offer additional enhanced viewing and parental control features that give parents the ability to screen what programmes and what channels their kids can and cannot watch.

Commenting on the announcement, Fayez Sabbagh, CEO of Space Toon said: "This partnership between Space Toon and Orbit is advantageous to both of us and viewers. As part of the Orbit platform Space Toon will now be able to reach a much larger customer base offering them viewer ship of one of the world's largest library of children's programmes in Arabic."

Space Toon TV will also be launching the brand new Space Toon English - this channel will air for eight hours every day and will be available on NileSat and Arabsat. Space Toon English will join the Orbit children's bouquet in the coming months.
