At a glittering awards ceremony and gala dinner, InterContinental Dubai received the prestigious 2005 DEPA Middle East Hotel Award for Best Food and Beverage outlet for its traditional Chinese restaurant, The China Club.

"Being fairly new to Dubai, I think that hosting all of these prestigious award ceremonies during the Arabian Travel Market really attracted a big crowd and allowed Travel and Tourism professionals from all over the Middle East to gather during these functions. We are delighted and honored to be nominated, as well as being voted in the top 3 finalists for many categories during these award ceremonies.
I am specifically delighted about the award we received for "Best Food and Beverage Outlet", during the DEPA Awards, that went to our traditional Chinese restaurant, The China Club.
The China Club is celebrating its 2nd anniversary this June and our 11 Master Chefs from China leading the kitchen, and our Chinese service team are all very excited about the upcoming promotions and surprises that will mark this event."

May 2nd 2005, the InterContinental Hotels Group was voted as the best Hotel Chain in the Middle East at the Annual Business Traveller Awards, which recognizes exceptional levels of quality and service.The InterContinental Dubai was voted in the top 3 finalists for the category of the Best Business Hotel in Dubai.
As well, voted by the DEPA awards as the Best Business Hotel in the Middle East, the InterContinental Phoenicia revives the joy of excellence for Beirut, Lebanon.
May 5th 2005, "The Spirit of Hospitality Awards" at the Mena Travel Awards awarded the InterContinental Dubai for 30 years of Hospitality and Service Excellence.
This event also awarded the InterContinental Abu Dhabi for a Platinum Award in the category of Best Business/ Corporate Hotel in the UAE.
Followed by last year's success, the InterContinental Dubai highly scores in the top Awards ceremonies held in Dubai in time for the Arabian Travel Market 2005.
