Epson launches a new 4000 ANSI lumens, network compatible installation projector for large venue presentations
- United Arab Emirates: Saturday, May 14 - 2005 at 10:25
- PRESS RELEASE
Epson has launched the EMP-7950NL, a powerful XGA projector designed for professionals who require an installation projector with high brightness and convenient features, such as networking, wireless and security.
As with all Epson business projectors, the EMP-7950NL includes important security features such as a password function to protect against unauthorised operation, access to confidential data and also to deter theft. Information presented across the wireless LAN is also made secure with the inclusion of WEP, WPA and LEAP security protocols.
Users can access an array of network capabilities typically available through a computer. For instance, it is possible to check and control aspects of the projector, such as switching sources or turning all projectors off at the end of the working day. Service network planning is made more efficient by the projector's ability to email alerts to a network supervisor notifying them of service requirements, such as expiry of lamp life or fan alerts.
The Epson EMP-7950NL is easy to set up and use in any environment, allowing users to concentrate on delivering their presentation. A perfectly square image can be quickly and easily created through advanced horizontal and vertical keystone correction achieved with the Epson Quick Corner function. And when there is no projector screen available, the projected image can be enhanced thanks to the Epson Wall Shot function. Even when the wall being used is not white, the EMP-7950NL will adjust the image quality to provide the quality that users would expect if projected onto a white background.
In line with Epson's environmentally aware remit, the Epson EMP-7950NL features an eco mode that delivers 3,000 hours lamp life for improved running costs. This projector is very quiet with an operation noise of just 33dB in low brightness mode, so it will not distract your audience.
"A thriving business environment demands versatile solutions that add value to presentations. In the Middle East, the demand for presentation projectors is strong, as businesses get more sophisticated and adopt global business practices," said Khalil El-Dalu, General, EPSON Middle East, says, "We are delighted to introduce the EMP-7950NL 3LCD installation projector that delivers an integrated solution for all kinds of presentations, especially in larger offices and conference rooms."
