Printech/Publitech to host Iranian pavilion

Ten Iranian companies are due to be housed in the pavilion, being organised by Sanat-e-chap, Iran's leading printing industry magazine.

"At the last show in 2000, three Iranian companies which participated, did very well and their positive feedback has encouraged other to follow their lead," explained E. Jahanbani, Editor, Sanat-e-chap.

"The Iranian printing and publishing industries are growing at an enormous rate. Iranian companies are now beginning to look beyond their national borders, mainly due to aggressive competition within the local market and also the huge potential, which exists outside the country, particularly in the Gulf. They are confident of success as Iranian companies can offer quality products at lower prices."

Iranian exhibitors are among confirmed PrinTech/PubliTech participants from the Middle East, North Africa and Europe.

The show, organised by Fairs and Exhibitions (F&E), is being held with the official support of the UAE Printers Association. It will be held at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre (DIEC) from January 12-15 next year.

"The show is heading for a sell-out," explained PrinTech/PubliTech Project Manager Dominic McGill. "More than 75% of the space has now been

reserved and the recent appointment of the show's first South African agent is spurring interest from that country."

PrinTech/PubliTech 2003 will be staged alongside its sister exhibition PackTech International, the show serving the Middle East's burgeoning packaging sector.
