The Arab Bank and Estarta Solutions successfully launch 'Harmony'

The project addresses the issue of integrating disparate systems used at the Bank, by leveraging advanced integration technologies based on Microsoft's BizTalk Server 2004 and .NET technologies.

The vision for the adopted enterprise application integration (EAI) solution is to allow the Bank to achieve an efficient integration between the core banking application and other disparate (current and new) applications as well as, among the applications themselves. The Bank's integration strategy is now open instead of the previously tightly-coupled strategy, which caused unnecessary efforts by IT specialists and overall maintenance costs. The EAI solution addresses systems scalability whereby the Bank's IT environment is easily extended to satisfy future business requirements. The solution also supports new business and IT initiatives to be undertaken at the bank.
