Hedge funds in trouble

Poor investments by big hedge funds in London have caused unprecedented losses, record demands for money back and talk of a death spiral, reported The Sunday Times. GLG, a hedge fund started by former Goldman Sachs bankers, has had demands for more than $500m from investors wanting to pull out. This highlights the stress being felt at many hedge funds in Europe and America after four months of poor results.
