Samsung launches next-generation LCD TVs in Middle East

LCD TV pioneer, Samsung Electronics, today launched its new line-up of next-generation LCD TVs for consumers in Middle East.
Available in eight sizes - 15", 17", 20", 23" 26", 32", 40 and 46" - the new line-up also includes HDMI inputs (High-definition multimedia input) to eliminate any signal loss for an exceptionally good picture quality.
"Samsung is known for its LCD innovation, and the advanced production techniques at our world's first 7-Generation LCD fabrication facility has produced a line of LCDs that are unparalleled in performance," said Mr. Ashraf Sajid, Senior Manager, Sales and Marketing for Samsung Gulf Electronics. "Samsung is taking a lead in not only making large LCD screens more affordable, but in pushing the size and technology envelopes to give consumers to the best performing, most enhanced picture solutions available today."
The 40-inch LCD TV, LA-40R51B, reinforces Samsung's technology leadership with a host of features that make the set a must-have for the audio-visual elite. The outstanding 170 degree viewing angle (both horizontal and vertical) ensures picture perfect entertainment from anywhere in the room. For added performance and convenience, the LA-40R51B features Samsung's patented, proprietary DNIe technology for superior and crisp picture quality. With a 1366 x 768 high resolution progressive scan, 500cd/m2 high brightness and a contrast ratio of 800:1, the top-of-the-line LCD HDTV offers matchless colour precision and video playback that is smooth without blurring.
