International case studies to be presented at the 11th GCC e-Government Forum in Dubai next week

International and regional technology experts will speak at the 11th GCC e-Government Forum, which will be held from 21st to 25th of May 2005 at the Al Multaqa Ballroom, Dubai World Trade Center, Dubai UAE.

The event organized by Datamatix Group will address the issues and challenges facing e-Government implementations in the region.

At the forum, technology leaders directly responsible for their country's e-Government initiatives will present case studies on e-Government implementations in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Estonia, Canada, Brunei, Oman, USA, China and UAE.

In addition, many leading regional experts will join the forum including - H.E. Ali Al Shuraidah, Asst Sec. Gen. for Information Centre & Decision Support, Council of Ministers - General Secretariat, Kuwait, H.E. Sheikh Ahmed bin Ateyatella Al Khalifa, Undersecretary, Central Informatics Organization, Bahrain, Mr. Salem Al Shair, Director e-Services, Dubai e-Government, Dr. Khaled Bin Abdullah AlSabti, e-Government Program Director, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, KSA and Mr. Dhiyab Salim Al-Abri, HRMS Project In-charge & Director (Computer Dept.) of the Ministry of Civil Services, Oman.

Speaking about the event, Ali Al Kamali, Managing Director, Datamatix said "The forum will discuss a wide range of issues such as e-Government ROI, e-Readiness, workforce development, m-Government, integrated services, change management, online service delivery, redesigning e-Government business and citizen services, GCC infrastructure and security issues and much more.
