With this latest addition, AGIS continues its aggressive growth plans through an expansive portfolio including global partners such as Microsoft, SAGE, Cisco, Foundry, Network Appliance and others.

Established in 1983, CMS boasts a broad clientele including hotels, restaurants, conference venues and government departments. The leading software development firm serves the hospitality industry through specialist software solutions from the GuestCentrix suite of products. As part of its global distribution strategy, CMS' products are currently being distributed in over 11 countries across the globe. AGIS will now function as CMS' channel in the Middle East, covering countries in GCC, North Africa and the Levant.

Speaking on the important deal, Manjeet Singh, Regional Manager, AGIS said, "We are extremely glad to have CMS Hospitality on board at AGIS. Through this key agreement, we will look to penetrate the expansive hospitality sector in the Middle East with CMS' GuestCentrix Suite of products. "

"Definitely, the region's hospitality sector is seeing tremendous growth in line with government initiatives. However, there is still potential for improvement through the use of better technology and localized support. Working hand in hand with CMS, AGIS will offer customized hospitality solutions backed by local technical support for clients in the Middle East. We will be strongly targeting prospects within the replacement market and independent chains in the region. Definitely, we look forward to exciting opportunities within different segments including the 3 and 4 star hotel industry, furnished apartments and regional hospitality chains." added Singh.

"CMS Hospitality is delighted to enter the Middle East hospitality solutions sector via our business partner, AGIS. We look forward to a profitable, mutually beneficial relationship with the leading solutions firm." said Erik Munoz, International Sales and Marketing Manager, CMS Hospitality. "First class, local support is of paramount importance for any hotelier. We place great emphasis on ensuring that our partners have the required skills and resources to deliver world-class services. AGIS was our preferred choice as it satisfactorily met all the critical partner requirements. "
"With regards to our prospects in the region, the feedback from the market is that there is no real alternative to the market leading PMS supplier.

The GuestCentrix suite has proven itself in the five and four star sectors as well as multi-property chains in the Asia Pacific Region and Europe. It will be healthy for the Middle Eastern market to have a strong competitor and an alternative software supplier for hotels and resorts" added Munoz.

GuestCentrix is a powerful and flexible suite of hospitality software applications, including central reservations, Point-Of-Sale, Property Management and, Conference and banqueting systems. GuestCentrix can manage multiple properties, or run as a stand-alone application for individual hotels, restaurants or conference venues. The solution is currently being used by numerous hotels and resorts including Holiday Inn Brisbane, Thredbro Ski Resort, Voyages Australian Resorts and others. Guestcentrix has also been selected by The Wakaya Club in Fiji, which is the world's 6th most expensive hotel.
