His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum visits kitchen, bathroom & lighting expos

The shows are part of a series of events filling over seven halls at the exhibition centre and featuring nearly nine hundred companies from over 40 countries around the world.

Current market data suggests that a staggering US$200 Billion will be spent on major projects across the AGCC states over the next 24 months and a large percentage of this will be spent in Dubai."

The exhibitions will run for their last day on Tuesday May 17th from 10am to 1pm and from 5pm to 9pm. These shows are a wonderful opportunity for builders, architects, project managers and supplies companies to see thousands of products from a range of top quality international suppliers.

The number of new residential office and hotel projects currently in the pipeline suggest some extraordinary statistics about the Gulf States requirements for building supplies over the next three years, estimates suggest:-

• Over 100,000 bathrooms will be installed.
• More than 20,000 kitchens will be built
• Well over 1 million lights will be fitted

The demand for construction materials is rising at over 11% per year and this is likely to continue for at least the next three years.
