- PRESS RELEASE
A company's most important asset is its staff, and understanding the many factors that combine to create a workplace that will maximise their well-being, productivity and efficiency is more important than ever in a modern and rapidly changing business world, of which Dubai is a prime example.
As the cost of office space continues to rise and companies face the increasing challenge of finding suitable locations, this year's programme has even greater relevance.
To be held at The Office Exhibition, an event that is in total synergy with Dubai's vision of the future and its relentless determination to establish itself as the major international hub for business and leisure, this year's programme puts the focus on the buildings we work in and the ways in which our workplace can be enhanced through the very latest global developments in workplace concepts, furniture, technology and ergonomics.
An independent interior design company founded over 12 years ago, CitySpace provides corporate workplace solutions to companies based in Dubai and throughout the Middle East. The company has been closely involved in the remarkable evolution of Dubai's skyline in terms of building design, occupancy strategy, space planning and workplace design. Its diverse client portfolio includes IT, FMCG and Oil & Gas multinationals to banks, government authorities and major local companies - it has also been involved in a number of projects in Qatar, another of the region's progressive and highly ambitious countries.
CitySpace has always been committed to bring fresh ideas and approaches to the region in the form of regular industry seminars. As a result, it has, over the years, hosted sessions featuring expert speakers from prominent international organisations including Steelcase, Vitra, Shen Milsom & Wilke, the Cordless Group and EC Harris.
At this year's Office Exhibition, there will be a wide-ranging programme of presentations related to workplace freedom. These will address some of the most important factors impacting our working lives both today and in the future, including the new workplace - space planning, workplace systems, storage and furniture solutions, walls and partitions, plus integrated multimedia. The latest in workplace technology including FM systems, security, iWork and the wireless office, plus the healthy workplace - colour, acoustics, lighting, optimisation of daylight and air quality will also be covered.
The speakers represent some of the leading names in their respective sectors, including Sun Microsystems, Bene, Vitra, Ofita, Colliers, Muraspec, MechoShade and TRANE.
The topics will be of particular relevance to all visitors whose roles have an impact on the workplace, whether this involves relocation or optimising their existing working environment (to use the latest industry buzzword, restacking), as well as those interested in learning about and adopting cutting edge-technology and modern workstyles to enhance productivity within their organisations. Registrations have already been confirmed from property and real estate professionals plus facilities, operations, IT, HR and office managers representing some of the leading multinationals from both Dubai and the region as a whole.
This year, for the first time, the seminars will be held in a specially developed area on the exhibition floor itself (in Hall 3 of Dubai International Exhibition Centre). Starting from 12 noon, there will be six different seminars every day of the exhibition, from Sunday May 22nd through to Tuesday May 24th. Places at the seminars are strictly limited, so it is important to secure your seat in advance - to pre-register, visit www.cityspace.ae, and complete the seminar registration form online.
