Named as one of Fortune magazine's '100 Best Companies to Work For' for the seventh consecutive year in February, Ernst & Young will be showcasing their existing training programs linked with Zayed University Higher Colleges of Technology and seeking to promote themselves as having one of the most rewarding career paths in the private sector.

The 5th Careers UAE Exhibition 2005 provides a platform for young UAE nationals to explore the different employment opportunities in the market by bringing together professional employers from the government and private sectors seeking to employ the best of the UAE's career-minded students.

"This will be Ernst & Young's third time participating in the Careers UAE Exhibition. We recognize it is an excellent platform to demonstrate why the firm is consistently recognized as one of the best companies to work for. This commitment is clearly demonstrated by Ernst & Young's strategy which positions people as one of three key drivers, along with quality and growth. We are sure that young UAE graduates will find this an attractive employment philosophy for a private company", said Edward Quinlan, Ernst & Young's UAE Country Partner.

As well as offering graduate positions, Ernst & Young currently offers training programs for UAE national students of both Zayed University and Higher Colleges of Technology, which are run twice a year over a period of three months each.
The firm takes in trainees from these universities and offers them hands-on experience in a real world environment. Guided by supervisors, trainees get the opportunity to communicate and interact with clients by engaging in client interviews and discussions and assist in planning transactions.

"Our people are clearly our greatest asset, so they are a top priority in Ernst & Young's Middle East and Global strategy. We have evolved beyond simply offering traditional benefits to providing the means to help our people develop careers that they find personally rewarding and still enjoy a personal life. We help our people grow," said Ahmed Al-Aiban, Ernst & Young's Chairman and Chief Executive for the Middle East.

The Careers UAE Exhibition 2005 will run from 16th -18th May, at Dubai Trade Centre Expo Halls.
