BMED celebrates link between Lebanon and Sudan

British Airways independent franchise partner, BMED, has been granted permission by the Governments of Sudan and Lebanon to carry passengers between Beirut and Khartoum.

The additional permit will enable British Airways to provide a non-stop direct service between the two countries, significantly improving journey times for passengers.

Richard Cann, general manager commercial for BMED said: "This is great news for British Airways passengers wanting to travel between Beirut and Khartoum. It is a privilege for an airline to be granted these permissions and we will be making use of them immediately, providing a vital link between Lebanon and Sudan."
