The furniture production industry worldwide is valued at approximately US$ 210 billion and continues to grow by the year. Global leaders in furniture manufacturing headquartered in Europe, North America and Asia account for approximately 30% of this lucrative market.

Bernard Walsh, Managing Director dmg world media Ltd said, "As the GCC region continues to make rapid strides and pushes towards becoming a financial powerhouse, the demand for impressive, high-end offices that stand out from the crowd has increased immensely." Walsh added, "With an international outlook, aided by the presence of some of the biggest global corporations, offices in the GCC are increasingly favouring a look that goes with that image. Today, the region is one of the prime global targets for exporters of furniture and interiors products. The Office Exhibition is the perfect opportunity for corporations, specifiers and buyers to keep up-to-date and do business with an extensive choice of global and local suppliers".

Paula Al Chami, Project Manager dmg world media Dubai Ltd said, "Since its inception four years ago, The Office Exhibition has grown in-line with the region. It attracts exhibitors and visitors from across the globe and the steady increase in trade visitors (2,919 in 2002 - 4,031 in 2003 - 4,862 in 2004) from Europe, Asia, North/South America and the GCC region year after year is both proof of its growing significance to this emerging market and the steadily increasing economic power of the region".

Boosted by the success of last year's Office Exhibition, numerous exhibitors have reconfirmed their presence for this year's event with nearly 200 exhibitors from countries as diverse as Denmark, and China will be making their presence felt alongside exhibitors from established markets such as the USA, Germany, Italy and other prominent European countries, as well as the established UAE distributors and contractors.

Taking place at The Dubai International Exhibition Centre from 22nd - 24th May 2005, The Office Exhibition will be open daily to trade visitors from 11am - 7pm in Halls 3 and 4. The event will run alongside the Hotel Show which will occupy Halls 5, 6 and 7.
