Exclusive premiere for BMW's new 7 Series, BMW M5 and M6 in Dubai, Sharjah and Northern Emirates

The guests witnessed the unveiling of the BMW 7 Series through a stunning state-of-the-art multimedia presentation designed to imaginatively highlight the new enhancements to the BMW 7 Series.

Commenting on the launch event, Stathis I Stathis, General Manager, AGMC said: "The design inspiration that goes into every BMW car is highly complex and full of emotion, knowledge and innovation. It was important for us to launch the new 7 Series in a memorable way that would combine the elegant and charismatic character of this unique car."

The most successful 7 Series in the history of BMW is once again setting the standard in the luxury performance class. With significantly enhanced performance, optimised suspension features, the enhanced iDrive control system, and equipment raised to a new, unprecedented level, the BMW 7 Series continues to act as a pioneer for the luxury performance segment.

"The current BMW 7 Series has acted as a pioneer in many respects. Now, BMW is continuing its development in an ongoing process. And once again, we are a step ahead of the competition," Stathis added.

At the same event AGMC also revealed the new BMW M5 and M6 to a musical backdrop that had the power and rhythm represented by the cars. The M5 is the fourth generation of this high-performance sedan yet it is a sports car perfectly suited for everyday motoring. The M6 is the strongest and most finely crafted 6 Series that there has ever been.

The all-new fourth generation BMW M5 pushes the performance envelope even further with the first V10 engine to power a production sedan. The new V10, that produces 507 horsepower, is mated to a seven-speed SMG transmission. It is the world's first production car seven-speed sequential gearbox with Drivelogic, changing gears 20 per cent faster than the previous generation SMG transmission.

With this powertrain the M5 offers the best power-to-weight ratio in its class. In the tradition of BMW M, the chassis has been engineered to keep up with the power while the exterior treatment is subtle, yet distinctive.

The BMW M6 sets a new standard in the segment of high-performance luxury sports cars. But unlike its competitors usually offering only two seats, the BMW M6 comes with all the space and comfort of a typical 2+2-seater.

Reducing weight to a sensible minimum, the M6 comes with all the driving dynamics required for the race track, while in terms of motoring comfort and equipment it is simply ideal for all roads. Not least, the body design of the BMW M6 modified only discreetly from the elegant BMW 6 Series Coupe comes with all the understatement so characteristic of all M Models as their elementary feature.

The 10-cylinder high-speed engine, that the M6 shares with the M5, interacting with the seven-speed SMG transmission, a magnificent chassis and suspension and an elegant body in innovative lightweight technology, plus a wide range of equipment, gives the customer a brand-new dimension in luxury performance motoring.
