Samsung Brain Challenge 2005 to kickoff in UAE

Global technology innovator, Samsung Electronics today announced its plans to kickoff the 'Samsung Brain Challenge 2005' in UAE.
"Following the overwhelming response to the previous years' challenge, this year the event is expected to attract keen interest not only from IT professionals but also from the general public whose lives have been touched by information technology (IT) in one way or the other," said Mr. K.V. Narayanan, Sales Manager, Samsung Gulf Electronics. "The UAE has always had a fast growing pool of IT talent and the 'Samsung Brain Challenge' is an ideal platform to showcase this expertise."
The Samsung Brain Challenge will consist of two rounds comprising the written elimination round for all participating teams and the on stage final round for the top six teams. There will be two participants in each team and the entry fee is AED 350/- per team. The content for this quiz will be simple and cover topics such as sports, entertainment, lifestyle, travel and Information Technology.
"The day long challenge, which is being hosted to further promote the adoption of information technology in UAE, is designed to bring together 500 key players from the industry for an evening filled with knowledge sharing and fierce competition," concluded Mr. Narayanan.
