Academy's pilot seminar lays ground for future partnership with LBS

The Center for Management Development (CMD) at London Business School and Etisalat Academy recently conducted a Financial Seminar for Non-Financial Senior Telecom Managers, at its Dubai campus.
The four-day seminar addressed subjects such as Finance Theory, Financial Analysis, Cash Flows, Product and Customer Profitability, Project Appraisal & Valuation, Shareholder Value Analysis, and Performance Analysis in Telecom Companies, Performance Measurement and Value Creation.
Dr. Doaa Fares, General Manager of Etisalat Academy said : "It is our great pleasure at the Academy to host such a special event in coordination with one of the most professional and prestigious Business Schools in Europe. Currently we are also discussing the possibility of hosting several similar events in the future."
The Programme Director, Mr. Keith Freeman, highlighted that the programme resolved many ambiguities in the Telecom Industry for Senior Manager participants and also stimulated many fruitful debates during the case studies discussed.
Mr. Nabil Said Al Dhanki, Sales Manager of Omantel added, "Such programmes should be attended by all Managers of our Industry to leverage their knowledge & enrich their background. Mr. Hassan Al Shemsi, Manager/Projects & Maintenance of Etisalat (E-Marine) stated, "The event brought us together and clarified many ideas and tools that are crucially important for Telecom Decision Makers.
