In addition, Jet Aviation has renewed a longstanding contract for B737 Boeing Business Jet training with ECFT.

Under the terms of the agreement, Jet Aviation is committed to conducting its pilot training with CAE for Gulfstream IV (including G300 and G400) and Gulfstream V (including G500 and G550) in addition to the 737 BBJ aircraft family fleet.

ECFT will offer its new training programme for the G550 business jet, the most recent version of the Gulfstream V aircraft family, beginning in Autumn.

Emirates' Chairman, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Maktoum, signed the contract with Heinz Köhli, CEO of the Jet Aviation Group of Companies.

Sheikh Ahmed said: "I am very pleased to welcome Jet Aviation once again to use Emirates-CAE Flight Training for its pilot training. The renewal of this contract with a business aircraft operator of the calibre of Jet Aviation reaffirms the high standard of training and support offered by our Dubai-based facility to customers worldwide."

ECFT is jointly operated by Emirates and Canada-based CAE under a long-term teaming agreement.

"Jet Aviation has been training with Emirates-CAE Flight Training for several years now, and we're proud that they've shown confidence in our abilities yet again," said Jeff Roberts, CAE's Group President, Civil Training and Services. "Repeat business is always a welcome sign that we're meeting our customers' needs."
