Leading IT consultant to address IT forum on growing ICT employment in the Gulf

Addressing specific challenges within the Arab region, Dr. Tony Murphy, Vice-President Consulting, Gartner, will engage the IT Forum on how the Arab region can emerge as a successful and prosperous knowledge economy.
Dr. Abdullah Abonamah, Director of the Institute for Technological Innovation, remarked: "We are very pleased to have an international thinker, who is as well known for his Middle Eastern perspective as Dr. Murphy, address the Forum on such a timely and important topic. Our goal is to help business and IT executives recognize the impact of enabling information technologies not only in their own organization, but in society at large."
The event is a taster for IT Forum membership: the Forum, the first of its kind in the Gulf region, allows CIOs and CEOs to meet both virtually and in person to discuss different perspectives of the IT planning process and information technology transfer in the region - from both managerial and strategic dimensions. IT Forum events are designed to promote the exchange of ideas, opportunities and experience and welcomes interest in its seminars from all qualified members and senior management professionals across the GCC.
