Goh Chok Tong visits The Dubai Mall

His Excellency Senior Minister and Former Prime Minister of Singapore Goh Chok Tong recently visited The Dubai Mall Leasing Centre and commended Emaar Properties for its vision.
Ibrahim Al Hashemi Emaar's Executive Director - Retail and Francis Lee of Singapore based DP Architects - appointed architects for The Dubai Mall development, led the former prime minister through the leasing centre which houses a scaled model of the entire mall.
"The Burj Dubai development is beyond imagination and is the pride of Emaar Properties which does not shy away from thinking big and delivering on its promises," Goh said. He also continuously asked questions on the scale of facilities at The Dubai Mall and the iconic Burj Dubai tower.
The Dubai Mall is the world's largest mall at over twelve million square feet of shopping and is just one element of the Burj Dubai Development, which is going to drive the downtown lifestyle in Dubai. The project that also includes The Residences, an exclusive upscale series of high-rise apartment towers; an Office Park; The Old Town, a low-rise traditional residences community inspired by the stylist antiquity of Arabian architecture; and The Burj Dubai Boulevard, a 3.5 km stretch that binds the entire district and gives it an international ambience, besides man-made lakes and landscaped parks.
