This is the fourth exhibition this year attended by EMG after IDEX 2005, Comit Qatar 2005 and Material Handling 2005 Dubai. 'We are gearing to move further and ready in every aspect of RFID system in order to meet our customer requirements' said Mr A.W Zamre, CEO of EMG.

During the Airport Build and Supply, EMG will display a baggage handling system mock up unit to show how RFID system in action for tracking baggage movement and at the end to reconcile for both passenger and baggage. In principles, by using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) will improve customer service considerably in terms of reductions in mishandled baggage, reduce interline baggage tag read errors as RFID technology does not require contact or direct line-of-sight, as is the case with current optical read technology. Furthermore the implementation will increase speed in baggage handling system because reduce of manual encoding while indirectly reduce the cost of operation.

The EMG-RFIDTM is unique because the distance cover for UHF system is more than normally claimed. The visitor is welcomed to watch the demo at EMG booth during this exhibition. EMG's Vice Chairman/Chief Scientist and CEO also will be around during that time. The customer can also book exclusive appointment to clarify about RFID system and others related issues.

EMG-RFIDTM also will announce its new innovation of RFID tag to be tagged at normal bag tagging system with more flexible for its read rate. On top of that EMG-RFIDTM also will announce a new release of UHF reader with Ethernet capable. Airports Operators, Airlines System and System Integrator are advised to keep watching the new press release regarding this matter because it will bring tremendous benefit in term of operation and cost.
