Trump on his way to Dubai
- United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, May 25 - 2005 at 08:07
- PRESS RELEASE
Donald Trump - the real estate tycoon and master of the business comeback - is planning his first trip to Dubai.
"I'm really, really looking forward to the trip," Trump told the audience via live video-cast. "There's amazing leadership in Dubai - I've heard it's a miracle city and I'm going to be meeting up with some great people."
In a brash yet highly motivating address Trump spoke of his climb-back from near business failure - and said success had two critical factors - to work in a business that you love and never to give up.
Trump was a headline speaker at Entrepreneurs in Dubai, which has been organized by IIR Middle East in conjunction with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Leaders.
Another headline star - Stelios Haji-Ioannou, Founder and Chairman of the UK's easyGroup - will address Entrepreneurs in Dubai on Wednesday.
"Trump delivered not just great business advice but was highly entertaining and was received exceptionally well by the audience," said Jessica Sutherland, General Manager, IIR Middle East. "This was an extremely rare opportunity to learn from a man who knows the highs and lows of business and how to survive."
