Also voted amongst the top three in the Middle East for categories of 'Best Retail Bank'; 'Best Islamic Bank'; 'Best Use of Technology'; and 'Best Call Center', this was quite an achievement for Emirates Bank- with only one branch outside the UAE in Saudi Arabia- and managing to earn top positions in four of the main categories across their Middle East competitors, some of which are established international banks.
Louis Scotto, General Manager of Retail Bank at Emirate Bank, commented after receiving the award, 'We, at Emirates Bank are very proud to have been awarded the Special Recognition Award for the Greatest Contribution to the Development of Banking in the Middle East. This award goes to all those who have contributed to the bank over the last 30 years and is in appreciation of all their endeavors in making Emirates Bank a market leader.
