- United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, May 25 - 2005 at 11:25
- PRESS RELEASE
Computer Associates (CA), one of the world's largest independent software companies, will be showcasing its intelligent storage management solutions at Storage World Middle East, the region's biggest data storage event and exhibition.
"Enterprise organizations have traditionally addressed storage resource requirements as and when the need arises," said Ned Jaroudi, regional marketing director at Computer Associates. "As the reliance on information resources grows and the need to safely store, manage and share increasing volumes of data becomes mission critical, it is crucial for Middle East organizations to take a pro-active approach to storage management. CA is going to help visitors to Storage World Middle East better understand the implications of storage management and demonstrate how its intelligent storage management solutions can help their organization to cut management costs, improve management efficiency and safeguard their most valuable asset."
Jason Phippen, EMEA product marketing director for Computer Associates, will deliver the keynote speech on Intelligent Storage Management, and will identifying the critical storage management challenges and the steps required to formulate a cost-effective Storage Management strategy.
"Poor management is often the root cause of many storage problems and poorly integrated products attribute to the increase of total cost of ownership. As a result, storage management has risen to the top of the 'to do' list for most enterprises." said Phippen. "Many organizations have implemented specialized products to address specific problems that resulted in disparate storage hardware/software components across the enterprise, resulting in increased costs, poor storage utilization and a lack of integration with key business applications. CA wants to rid enterprise organizations of this burden by deploying intelligent solutions that bring immediate improvement to their storage environment while allowing them to fully utilize the business value of their most important data."
CA welcomes visitors of the 2-day event to visit the CA stand (stand 21) where it will showcase CA's award-winning BrighStor solutions. CA is a key player in the storage management solutions industry, with technology that enables companies to store, protect and manage data intelligently.
