The Godolphin Ballroom hosted the seminar where Landmark Properties spotlighted the region's real estate market and spoke about current market forces, trends and forecasted future investment opportunities. The interactive discussion gave a complete overview of the UAE market highlighting a number of developments and answered questions from the 200 strong audience which consisted of potential and current property investors. A number of market statistics were drawn upon, including the rapid increase in demand for commercial property, this being one of the areas that Landmark Properties predicts as offering investors great yields.
Robert Lovett, managing partner for Landmark Properties and one of the speakers at the seminar said, 'The purpose of the evening was to offer market education and provide investors with valuable information to make confident decisions, an ethos which is paramount to Landmark Properties. There is currently talk that the market is saturated with local developments. Our aim is to cut through the clutter for our clients and prevent them from feeling overwhelmed. The seminar was open to property investors or home buyers looking to learn about the local market and get an inside track on information from a knowledgeable and established local real estate company. With the market growing at such a rapid pace Landmark Properties wants to lend investors a helping hand by analysing the information and offering thorough and expert advice to best inform buyer's choice.
After the seminar, Landmark sat down to dinner with Attendees. Lovett went on to say, 'A growing trend among investors today is to spread the investment risks among several developments and types of units such as apartments, residential villas, land or commercial. Not all projects are gaining value at the same rate and some properties have been out pacing the market while others have been under performing. It is essential for buyers to be aware of these trends. Equally, as important as finding the right property is to be aware of the regions market forces which will influence your property's long term value.'
Landmark Properties discussed relevant market forces including new developments - such as Dubai Metro, airport extensions, world famous shopping centres and schools - as well as compared several developments. It was also highlighted that investors are coming together to form investment groups and act as purchasing forces to invest in the highly demanded and marginally supplied, commercial properties market.
Landmark Properties representatives were on hand throughout the event to offer their knowledge and experience in one to one meetings after the seminar, in a bid to make the property market as transparent as possible to guests. Attendees had the chance to ask questions about the market in a no pressure, informal environment.
