Dubai Bank hires new Head of Corporate Finance

As part of its ongoing strategy for expansion, Dubai Bank, Dubai's landmark institution renowned for its excellence, has recently engaged in hiring a number of high caliber financiers with a big appetite in a highly competitive local market.
Mr. Mouchbahani is spearheading the bank's entry into Merchant and Investment Banking, expanding its product and geographic reach and refining the Bank's overall Corporate Finance division.
"We are very pleased that Chris has joined us at Dubai Bank and we are looking forward to an exciting year for the bank, where Chris will play a crucial role in driving our planned expansion and overall growth" commented Ziad Makkawi, CEO of Dubai Bank.
Prior to joining Dubai Bank, Mr. Mouchbahani held numerous high profile roles within the global financial industry, including Directorship at The National Investor, Paribas and later BNP Paribas where he worked in Corporate Finance - Mergers & Acquisitions group in London and Paris, responsible for the origination and execution of transactions across Europe.
Mr. Mouchbahani has successfully originated, executed, placed and closed off over 50 landmark transactions, with a value in excess of US$ 18 billion.
