While 250 exhibitors displayed Italian products including building materials, gift items, furniture, home furnishings, crystals and glass, lighting, food products and fashion accessories, Julia of Studio Legale de Pasquale and Andrea Cini of Architects Associates - two among several service providers -were of immense help to many trade and general visitors.
'Our firm can offer legal advice and assistance both in judicial and arbitration proceedings, international law and commercial & contractual matters,' said Julia, who is a representative of the Italian law firm in Dubai at the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the UAE & GCC.
In the field of international law, 'our firm is specialised in all the services of initial guidance regarding international contracts such as joint venture, distribution, sale, agency agreements and franchise contracts forfeiting and also legal advice about customs, transportation and taxation,' she said.
The company also assists in founding of groups of companies and all kinds of foreign company transformations, mergers, divisions and winding ups.
'We analyse the local legislation, taxation, bureaucratic procedures and find the best company type for each context to foster possible investment in several countries while protecting the investor,' she added.
'We are also active in the field of territorial marketing and we provide assistance for potential foreign investors in Italy,' she said.
Architects Associates is registered with the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the UAE & GCC, and plans to set up an independent office in Dubai shortly. The firm is about to initiate its ISO 9000 certification procedure.
At the exhibition, the firm showcased a series of designs and plans for residential building projects.
'Our firm is reputed for planning and designing building products, particularly residential complexes of detached individual family units,' said Andrea Cini.
The exhibition was organised by the Italian Trade Commission, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the UAE & GCC Representative Office, ARTEX - Italy, and Expo Centre Sharjah and supported by the Ministry of Productive Activities - Italy, C.N.A.-Italy, Confartigianato-Italy and the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Service providers hog limelight at Italian Lifestyle exhibition
The second Italian Lifestyle in the Emirates Exhibition, held at Expo Centre Sharjah from May 24 to 27, went a long way in reinforcing that there is more to Italy than fashion and lifestyle products and brought into focus the service offered by architects, building contractors, interior decorators and lawyers.
