Lube Plus rewards franchisees for 2004 performance

'Exceptional customer service was a key factor in last year's 10 per cent growth of the Lube Plus segment of omanoil,' revealed Srinivas Iyer, Business Manager for Lube Plus and BP retail.
Oman Oil Marketing Company's (OOMCO) Lube Plus Annual Awards are designed to reward and motivate the franchisees of Lube Plus, the service that provides an oil change in 15 minutes and a 17 point safety check at selected omanoil fuel stations across the country.
Following a sumptuous dinner, the prestigious awards were handed out for categories such as customer service, HSE, volume growth and car count growth.
Also in attendance from OOMCO was Shaukath Assadi, Country Manager for Lubricants. He said, "It is good to see such a rapid growth in the quick lube segment last year. The Lube Plus service has a great future in Oman and we want to take this opportunity to say thank you to the franchisee owners and managers for their contribution to its success."
OOMCO is the sole distributor of BP and Castrol lubricants in Oman, and offers its Lube Plus service in nine sites across the country. Managed by trained technicians, Lube Plus is a regional market leader, due to its quality of service, quality of lubricants and its quick, clean and modern oil change facilities."
Srinivas Iyer added, "We won't be standing still and are constantly looking at improving our customer service as well as our sales. We have a few good initiatives coming up in the next 12 months once of which will build on the success of the loyalty scheme we launched in 2004."
