Cisco Systems showcases Storage Area Networking solutions at Storage World 2005

Cisco Systems will showcase its Multilayer Storage Networking (SAN) Solutions at Storage World Middle East 2005, a dedicated data storage solutions exhibition, which will be held at Al Bustan Rotana Hotel, Dubai, from May 29 to 31, 2005.
Commenting on Cisco Systems' participation in the event, Ghazi Atallah, General Manager, Cisco Systems, Middle East, said: "Enterprise storage networking infrastructures are evolving rapidly in order to increase agility to support changing business priorities, application requirements and revenue growth. Cisco Systems is uniquely positioned to provide IT managers with an enterprise-wide approach to deploying scalable and easily administered storage networking infrastructures that meet all their requirements and give complete control to organisation for managing business growth."

During Storage World 2005, Atallah will participate in a panel session on storage networking technologies on May 30, 2005, while Emmanuel Schupp, Market Development Manager, Data Centre Solution, Cisco Systems, will be presenting on 'Intelligence in the Data Centre Network' on May 31, 2005.
"Cisco's Storage Area Networking solutions provide universal access to storage over Internet Protocol (IP) networks and fit seamlessly into existing storage and data networks. Cisco's storage area solutions also provide extensive security capabilities that are critical for controlled access to valuable storage resources and ensures optimal performance and reliability for the IP network and storage," Atallah added.
