Fastlink showcases latest data services at WEBEX

The products on display, including Fastlink's GPRS and EDGE based data services, came to reflect major development in Jordan's telecommunications sector. It also came to manifest the Company's efforts to introduce latest technologies and help advance the business sector through modern, efficient applications.

Over the years, Fastlink's services have inspired businesses to use innovative marketing tools, enriched people's lives and added fun and entertainment to a customers' mobile, which now extends beyond being a simple communication device to being a multimedia kit.

On the occasion of the exposition and conference, which was inaugurated by Minister of Information and Communications Technology, Nadia Sa'eed, Fastlink Data Services Manager, Ziad Masri, said the Company has upgraded its electronic gateway, which now provides customers access to all available services, adding that the gateway has evolved into an umbrella for a big variety of services and applications.

The exposition, under the title "Data technology as a way of life" aims to create an interactive venue for participants and visitors and to promote the Internet usage among the economic and social sectors for the benefit of Arab societies.

Masri said Fastlink plans to launch a number of new services based on high quality technologies and is continuously working to keep pace with world developments in the communications sector so as to meet the growing needs of companies and individuals.
