New Director of Sales at the InterContinental Dubai

Robert El Khoury was promoted from Assistant Director of Sales at the InterContinental Dubai, where he assisted the previous Director of Sales, implementing the overall sales strategies of the hotel and overlooking the entire sales operation.

Originally from the North of Lebanon, Robert El Khoury brings to InterContinental Dubai his extensive experience in sales management and planning in the leading hospitality industry in the Middle East. This includes almost three years in senior management positions with InterContinental Dubai.

Robert El Khoury graduated with a Hotel Management degree in Lebanon in 1995, and joined a leading 5 star hotel for Banquets and Conference Management in 1996in Riyad. He got transferred then to Bahrain as Sales Manager for 1 year when he was sent to Abu Dhabi for a 6-month sales mission. He joined the Dubai market in the year 2000 as a Senior Sales Banquets Manager for the pre-opening and opening of a 5-star hotel. He then joined the InterContinental Dubai in 2002 as Senior Sales Manager before he held the position of Assistant Director of Sales.

His main goal as Director of Sales of InterContinental Dubai is to sustain and further advance the existing leading position of the hotel in the competitive market of Dubai and firmly establish the InterContinental Dubai as the unique service excellency destination of choice in Dubai.
