GPSSA organizes seminar on "Pensions and Social Insurance" for Sharjah government employees

The General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA) together with the Sharjah Department of Human Resource Development recently organized a seminar on "Pensions and Social Insurance".

A large number of employees from different local authorities and departments attended the seminar including employees from Sharjah International Airport, Sharjah Free Zone Authority, Sharjah TV, Department of Economic Development, Department of Human Resource Development, Sharjah Municipality, Sharjah Police Department, Sharjah Ladies Club and Sharjah Ports and Customs Department.

H.E. Abdul Rahman Al Baqer, Deputy Director General of the GPSSA said, "This seminar is part of a series that aims to increase awareness of pensions and social insurance among employees of private and public sectors. It has resulted thanks to the excellent relationship between the GPSSA and the Department of Human Resource Development.

H.E. Abdul Rahman Al Baqer commended Ms. Hanan Rashed Al Jarwan, General Manager, Sharjah Department of Human Resource Development of the Department, for the tremendous work undertaken by the Department to train employees of both private and public sectors thereby positively impacting their performance.
